RelayDance ("we", "us") operates relaydance.com, an AI video and image generation service offered through a web console and an OpenAI-compatible API. This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account data: the email address you register with, a hashed password or third-party sign-in identifier, your balance, and your top-up history.
- Usage data: API request metadata such as the model called, generation parameters (for example duration and resolution), timestamps, task status, billed amounts, originating IP address and user agent. We use this for billing, capacity planning and abuse prevention.
- Content data: the prompts and reference media (images, video, audio) you submit, and the media generated for you. This content is processed only to fulfill your requests and to meet content-safety obligations.
- Payment data: payments are handled by third-party payment processors. We store order references, amounts and payment status; we never receive or store full card numbers.
- Cookies: session cookies keep you signed in to the console. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
2. How we use information
To provide and bill the service, secure accounts, prevent fraud and abuse, run automated content moderation on inputs and outputs where required, debug reliability issues, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal data and we do not show ads.
3. Sharing and processing by third parties
Generation requests run on upstream model infrastructure operated by our model providers (including ByteDance and BytePlus services for Seedance models). Your prompts and reference media are transmitted to those providers to produce your output, and generated media may be served from provider-operated storage, so output links can expire after a limited period. We also use payment processors to handle payments and a CDN (Cloudflare) to serve the site. These parties process data only to deliver their part of the service.
4. Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. Usage logs are kept for as long as they are needed for billing disputes, security and abuse prevention, and are then deleted or anonymized. You can request deletion earlier, as described below.
5. Your rights
You can request a copy, correction or deletion of your personal data by contacting support@relaydance.com from your registered email. Deleting your account stops further processing, except for records we must keep for accounting and fraud prevention.
6. Security
All traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS, API keys are revocable at any time from the console, and internal access to production data is restricted. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so keep your API keys secret and rotate them if you suspect exposure.
7. Minors
The service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
8. Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date at the top.
